Eric Pedicelli is an award-nominated film director and editor, working in English and French. His feature documentary directorial debut, Ask No Questions, premiered at the 2020 Slamdance Film Festival with critical acclaim.

Eric earned a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Documentary Editing in 2017 for his work on Black Code, directed by Nick de Pencier (Anthropocene, Watermark, Manufactured Landscapes). Based on a book by Ron Deibert (founder of Citizen Lab), Black Code shines a light on the perils faced by activists and journalists in the digital age. It premiered at TIFF in 2016 before screening at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival in Hong Kong, London and Toronto.

Eric advocates for human rights through his films, which have exhibited at major festivals and institutions around the world. Working with Save the Children in Ivory Coast, he helped raise awareness of the lack of bathrooms in high-schools and its impact on women's education. Eric filmed in Nepal and India to highlight the work of Tibetan Monks who deftly circumvent censorship to contact sources in tightly controlled Tibet. While in Rio de Janeiro, Eric interviewed the Midia Ninjas whose fight for civil rights is complicated by digital surveillance.
